We are currently recruiting for an auto-electrician role at Venari Group HQ in West Yorkshire – one of the most exciting firms in the region. With an ambition to quickly become the UK’s leading manufacturer of fire trucks and ambulances, this role seeks the very best auto electrician candidates from across Yorkshire.
We currently employ more than 100 people across our 180,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space in both Goole and West Yorkshire.
In the role you will be responsible for electrical Installations, diagnostics, fault finding and electrical repairs on vehicle bodies to the highest achievable quality standard, within agreed timescales. Duties will also include fitting looms, light bars, consumer units and other various parts.
Read and understand technical drawing and specification sheets.
Wiring up of Electrical components and installations of wiring looms.
Diagnostic checks, troubleshooting and rectification of vehicle electrical systems.
Ability to use hand tools to a high level of skill.
Use of special tools such as crimping devices and heat shrink guns.
Adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
Responsible for good housekeeping, cleanliness and standards.
Reduce wastage by using raw materials and consumable items carefully.
Take reasonable care of the health and safety of yourself and others.
Co-operate with the Company to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Other duties as required.
