ROLE SUMMARY

Venari Group Ltd is the largest and fastest growing emergency vehicle manufacturer in the UK, specialising in the conversion of Ambulances and Fire Appliances. Employing 130 people across our 160,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space in Goole, Brighouse, and Dagenham, we are revolutionising our industry and making a real difference to our frontline key workers.

We are now continuing in our next phase of growth and are currently looking for the role of Auto-Electrician/Electrical Fitter at our Goole site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and understand technical drawing and specification sheets
• Carrying out auto electrical installations to vehicles to customer requirements
• Fault diagnosis and repairs, using electronic diagnostic equipment
• Wiring up electrical components and installations of wiring looms
• Diagnostic checks, trouble shooting and rectification of vehicle electrical systems
• Ability to use hand tools such as crimping devices and shrink guns
• Adherence to H&S rules and regulations 
• Good housekeeping, cleanliness, and high standards of own area 
• Reduce wastage by using raw materials and consumable items carefully
• Other duties as required by the business

Skills and Experience:

• Ideally 2 years previous experience as an Auto Electrician
• Clean Driving licence essential 
• Problem solving skills 
• Strong manual skills and precision when carrying out repair and testing 
• Ability to read electrical and electronic schematics and circuit diagrams 
• Must take pride in their work and ensure work is completed to a high standard 
• Full UK clean Driving Licence 
• Must have own tools appropriate for the job  
• Excellent attention to detail  
• Works to a high-quality standard 
• Works well under pressure and to deadlines 
• Able to work on own initiative after completing training 
• Able to follow instructions  
• Good communicator  

The hours for this role are 8.00 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday / 8.00 am to 2.00 pm on Friday. This is based on 38 hours per week.
