The long awaited and highly anticipated unveiling of the new Ziegler air crash truck, part manufactured and supplied by Venari for the UK and Ireland, takes place on 6th October at Venari Group headquarters. The launch will be attended by the UK’s leading aviation firefighting professionals of the Airport Fire Officer’s Association (AFOA).
The air crash truck was initially planned for its global launch at Interschutz 2020 but with an understandable postponement of the event, the launch was inevitably put back.
Venari Group CEO, Oliver North, commented on the launch: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be unveiling the machine which I truly believe will quickly become an outright market leader in its class. After interest from other global leaders in our field to host this year’s AFOA AGM and conference, I’m delighted at the fact that Venari have been selected, and we will certainly not disappoint!
“After being privy to the new ARFF throughout its development and after supplying countless machines of this type in the UK, I cannot imagine anything more ‘at home’ for the genuinely world-class British aviation fire services. Particularly considering our quality and speed in terms of aftersales support, back-up and spare parts infrastructure.
“And to then consider the fact that more local manufacturing content will take place on the new Ziegler air crash truck right here at Venari, West Yorkshire, than on any other air crash truck on the global market, we’re confident that we can improve both the operational aspect on the front line, whilst achieving unrivalled and key economic benefits.”
Venari’s firefighting division sales manager, John Purdy, added: “Every 15 years it seems there is a ‘changing of the guard’ so to speak, in terms of market dominance in the aviation fire sector for a specific product. After dissecting the sheer quality and performance of the new air crash truck, I have no doubt that this machine will step into the fold as a market leader in due course. And with the passion of our team around back-up and efficient customer care, it really will be a breath of fresh air to the market.”
