James Houston welcomed as Group Finance Director

Venari has welcomed James Houston into the company as the group’s new Finance Director.

Following the recent announcement of Venari Group’s plans to launch a new West Yorkshire-based production facility, in conjunction with expanding into wider emergency services markets, James has joined Venari to oversee the financial growth of the group, including that of Venari’s 32 year-old ambulance manufacturer, O&H Vehicle Technology.

He joins the group with a wealth of experience in the manufacturing industry, following a thorough selection process. James showcased the highest competency of all candidates within the finance field, as well as dynamism, professionalism and ambition to drive the company forward.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Houston said: “With a personal ambition to contribute to a modern and ambitious manufacturer, I was intrigued to meet the board of O&H Vehicle Technology. After subsequently meeting and discussing the company’s objectives with the board during the interview process, it became clear our ambition is completely aligned as we step into Brexit as pro-actively as possible.

“With an imminent desire to become the most sustainable and ethical emergency vehicle builder in the UK, we’ve started as thoroughly as possible and with the activation of the wider group. I look forward to contributing to what we believe will be one of the region’s genuine success stories for 2020 and into the long term future of Venari Group.”
